You want your building to be comfortable
from one corner of the facility to the other. You want the air to be fresh and free of combustion fumes and toxic contaminants. But you also want to be comfortable with the cost of your air management equipment. Compared to other direct-and indirect-fired systems in the 1,000-60,000 CFM range, the Rapid 2000 Series direct-fired air handlers are priced competitively. But there the competition stops.

The best value for your dollar...

The 2000 Series is better built than the competition. It operates more efficiently over its entire life. It undergoes an industry-leading 80-point quality check before it leaves the plant. Once it arrives at your facility, there is a nearby factory-trained service technician who knows exactly how to commission your direct-fired air handler to get maximum performance for years to come. The Rapid 2000 Series is simply the best value for your dollar.

The 2000 Series air management systems are adaptable to your building and budget specifications. Ask your Rapid Sales Representative to help you equip your direct-fired system to meet your needs and specifications with these options.

2000 Series Features and Benefits

Automatically pressurize your facility for the ultimate in comfort.

An Air Management (AM style) system automatically creates a slight positive building pressure by using 20% to 100% fresh air. This gives you the ultimate in comfort, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and design flexibility. (Note: Not available on Model 2005.)

Recirculate air for increased energy efficiency.

If your facility has minimal need for a constant supply of fresh, outdoor air, specify the AR style system. This system mixes 20% fresh air with 80% recirculated air from your building space. It delivers excellent energy efficiencies without compromising your indoor air quality. (Note: Not available on Model 2005.)

Direct replacement air

For industrial processes such as paint booths, the Make-Up Air (MUA style)system will supply direct replacement air for the building’s mechanical exhaust. The MUA style is Rapid’s traditional 100% outdoor air unit and is available in both horizontal and vertical versions.

Improved spray booth performance.

If you're using spray booths, you can optimize the application of the latest paints and finishes by using Rapid ’s SPRAY-CURE ™ (SC style)system. This gas-fired system supplies heated make-up air for your prep station, addresses all finishes, including waterborne; and can convert your booth to a finishing system. Productivity increases, while energy costs lower.
